ARREST OF THE LAND PLOT OF THE COMPANY ASTRA CAPITAL GROUP

On October 11, 2019, within the framework of criminal proceedings on the grounds of criminal offenses provided for by the Criminal Code of Ukraine, initiated against the actions of officials of the executive bodies of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, subjects of appraisal activity, as well as individuals, the Ordzhonikidze Court of the city of Zaporizhzhia seized a number of land plots as interim measures. All land plots were purchased by buyers from the Zaporizhzhia City Council. In total, interim measures were imposed on the plots of more than 5 legal entities, including the site of ASTRA CAPITAL GROUP LLC (0.3103 ha., located at the address: Zaporizhzhia, Peremohy str., 35 a). In this connection, the legal entity of ASTRA CAPITAL GROUP LLC was involved in the process and acquired the status of a third party within the framework of this criminal case and was forced to take actions to protect its interests.

In order to expand the regional presence of the group ASTRA CAPITAL, in particular in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, the company acquired an administrative building in the city center at Peremohy Street 35a at a public auction from a commercial bank, and in March 2017 opened an office there. The mentioned site, where the company’s office is located, was acquired by ASTRA CAPITAL GROUP LLC on November 2, 2017 in accordance with priority law and in compliance with the legislation of Ukraine.

The company ASTRA CAPITAL GROUP LLC is a law-abiding buyer of the above-mentioned land plot. The land plot was purchased in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine, in compliance with all procedures necessary for this type of transaction. The interim measures that were imposed during the preliminary investigation are groundless. The company’s lawyers and legal services prove this in court.
