ASTRA CAPITAL INVESTS IN A PROJECT TO BUILD SOLAR POWER PLANTS

On December 22, 2016, as part of the implementation of the strategy for investing in the alternative energy industry, ASTRA CAPITAL GROUP LLC acquires a 50% stake in a company specializing in the development and construction of solar power plant projects in the Zaporizhzhia region.

The main project is the construction of a solar power plant with a design capacity of 65 MW (“65 MW Project”) on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region in Tokmak. The start of construction of the project is February 2017. The project is planned to be implemented in partnership with the best manufacturers of photovoltaic modules Risen, Talesun (China), inverters FRONIUS (Austria). The total amount of planned investments is estimated at 55.4 million euros.

This project has undeniable regional significance. This is the first large-scale project in the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, the territory of which has a favorable climate for the construction of solar power stations. In addition, it is planned to create new jobs with stable wages at all stages of the construction and commissioning of the power plants, which is also associated with the payment of taxes for the benefit of the development of the region’s economy.
