RUSLAN BOZHKO – SPEAKER AT THE UKRAINIAN RENEWABLES FORUM IN LONDON

Managing Partner of ASTRA CAPITAL Ruslan Bozhko took part in the annual Ukrainian Renewable Energy Forum in London (June 24^th, 2019) and acted as a competent speaker with extensive experience in investing in alternative energy projects. The Ukrainian Renewable Energy Forum in London was convened in order to unite existing developers of renewable energy projects in Ukraine, both local and international, with leading financiers, consultants and sponsors of renewable energy projects from the UK, Europe and North America.

The renewable energy sector of Ukraine attracts an unprecedented level of investment in large-scale projects, large domestic business groups are joined, in particular, by international strategic investors from Norway, Canada, Great Britain and Spain. Due to the planned transition from a “green” tariff to an auction-based quota system next year, there is a feeling that the time is right for investment in the sector, as Ukraine seeks to increase the share of renewable energy sources in its energy balance to the ambitious levels outlined in its National Energy Strategy.
