THE COMPLETION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TENTH LAUNCH COMPLEX WITH THE CAPACITY OF 9,491 MW

On November 15, 2018, the construction of the 10th launch complex with the capacity of 9,491 MW was completed as part of the implementation of the stages of construction of a solar power plant in the Zaporizhzhia region (“65 MW Project”).

The Resolution of the NERC No. 23 “On amendments to the annex to the Resolution of the NERC” approved the “green” tariff for the 10th launch complex, the contractual agreements with the buyer of “green energy” were signed.

The electric power generation by the 10th launch complex will be started in January 2019. The successful implementation of the project implementation strategy is at the final stage.

The Project of construction of a 65 MW solar power plant in the Zaporizhzhia region started in 2016, the planned completion date is 2019. The estimated cost of the project is 55.4 million euros, the annual revenue from the project is 10.5 million euros. Suppliers and contractors of the Project are both Ukrainian (Metinvest, MGT PRJSC, Odessakabel) and foreign companies (Risen, Talesun, Fronius). The project is aimed at the economic development of the Zaporizhzhia region at the expense of taxes and new jobs, at the development of the green energy sector of the region and Ukraine.

The project is being implemented through the subholding UKRAINE RENEWABLE ENERGY HOLDINGS UREH LIMITED (UREH).
